Welcome to Speed Choice

Speed Choice is an education programme run by Somerset County Council that is designed to support the Safecam casualty reduction strategy by raising drivers' awareness of the dangers of driving on today's roads.

Speed Choice has been running since April 2003 and more than 130,000 people have attended the workshops. Feedback has shown that the vast majority have found them to be positive and thought-provoking experiences.

All workshops are held in a very informal atmosphere and are run by road safety experts. Open discussion is encouraged and the overall aim is to facilitate learning in a light and enjoyable environment.
