The Camera Processing Unit (CPU) is responsible for processing offences detected through safety camera enforcement. If you have received a Notice of Intended Prosecution and have a query, you may contact the CPU by email, post, or telephone.


In order for your enquiry to be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible, it is recommended that you contact the CPU by email.

You may submit an email enquiry using the contact form below. Please note that this form should be used for enquiries only; it must not be used as a way of replying to your NIP (i.e nominating another driver, requesting a court hearing, or disputing your vehicle was involved in the offence.) The NIP is a legal document and must be completed, signed, and returned to the Camera Processing Unit for processing. Please also note that making enquiries does not extend the 28-day time limit as stated on the NIP.
